56. Financial Management and Financial Billing and Recovery Services Sole\nSource Agreements\nRevised recommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Health\nServices to execute an amendment to a sole source agreement with Sutherland\nHealthcare Solutions, Inc., for the continued provision of Financial Management\nServices for the Departments of Health Services and Public Health, effective\nupon execution following Board approval, to extend the term for the period of\nOctober 1, 2023 through September 30, 2025, with no change to the maximum\nreimbursement rates; execute an amendment to a sole source agreement with\nUSCB America for the continued provision of Financial Billing and Recovery\nServices for the Department of Health Services, with no change to the maximum\nreimbursement rates, effective upon execution following Board approval, to\nextend the term for the period of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2025;\nextend the term of each agreement up to 12 months in order to complete the\nongoing solicitation process for replacement services and transition to the new\nrevenue cycle management system; and execute future amendments to the\nagreement to add, delete, and/or modify non-substantive terms and conditions,\nas required by applicable law, County policy, and the Board, add/delete County\nfacilities, make any necessary changes to scope of services and negotiate and\nadjust fees structures that do not to exceed the existing maximum compensation\nrates specified in the agreements, and if necessary, terminate the agreement(s)\nin accordance with the termination provisions set forth in the agreement(s).\n(Department of Health Services) APPROVE (Continued from the meeting of\n8-8-23) (23-2812)\nAttachments: Revised Board Letter\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
