California Home Visiting Program Awards\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Health to accept and\nimplement a forthcoming award from the California Department of Public Health\n(CDPH) to support the California Home Visiting Program for Fiscal Year\n2023-24, which includes, Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting\n(MIECHV) program services at an estimated annual amount of $1,910,893,\nfunded by Federal Health Resources and Services Administration MIECHV\nGrant Program funding passed through CDPH, Assistance Listing Number\n93.870, Evidence-Based Home Visiting services at an estimated annual amount\nof $6,388,878, funded by State General Funds (SGF), and Innovation Project\nservices at an estimated annual amount of $1,000,000, funded by SGF; accept\nfuture awards that are consistent with the requirements of the forthcoming\naward and/or amendments that extend the funding periods at amounts to be\ndetermined by CDPH, reflect revisions to the award’s terms and conditions to\ninclude, but not be limited to, the rollover of unspent funds, redirection of funds,\nand/or an increase or decrease in funding; and accept future Federal and State\nMIECHV funding resulting from the Federal MIECHV program reauthorization.\n(Department of Public Health) APPROVE (23-3083)\nAttachments: Board Letter\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
