4. Los Angeles County’s Fiscal Resilience: Establishing a Policy to Prioritize\nFiscal Motions During the Budget Process\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Mitchell: Direct the Chief\nExecutive Officer to report back to the Board in writing during the Fiscal Year\n2023-24 Supplemental Budget phase with a comprehensive list of Board\nmotions that remain unfunded, including cost estimates, and details on whether\nthe funding request was one-time and/or ongoing in nature; and provide to the\nBoard, starting in calendar year 2024, the list in Directive No. 1, at least three\ntimes a year, in alignment with the three phases of the budget process, with\nfuture reports to include, to the extent possible, measurable outcomes provided\nby the involved Departments for any new and expanded programs to enable\nfuture evaluation of the program(s).
