51. On-Call Surveying and Related Services Agreement\nRecommendation: Award and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute\nconsultant services agreements with the following four firms: one small-sized\nfirm, D. Woolley & Associates, Inc., one medium-sized firm, GIS Surveyors,\nInc., and two large-sized firms, Psomas and Guida Surveying, Inc., for the\nprovision of on-call surveying and related services for County projects, such as\nroad repair, bridge retrofit, storm drain and flood control channel repair,\nmulti-use trail and bikeway projects and pump station projects and other\nprojects requested by other County Departments, for an initial term of three\nyears, with two one-year extension options, and an aggregate program amount\nnot to exceed $11,250,000, and subject to additional extension provisions; and\nauthorize the Director to take the following actions: (Department of Public\nWorks) APPROVE\nAuthorize additional services and extend the contract expiration date as\nnecessary to complete those additional services when those additional\nservices are previously unforeseen, related to a previously assigned\nscope of work on a given project and are necessary for the completion of\nthat given project;\nSupplement the initial aggregate not-to-exceed program amount for each\nof the four agreements by up to 25% of the original aggregate program\namount based on workload requirements; and\nAdminister each of the agreements and, at the discretion of the Director,\nexercise the extension options based upon project demands and the level\nof satisfaction with the services provided with no change to the initial\nnot-to-exceed program amount.
