55. On-Call Ford Theatres Shuttle Services Contract\nRecommendation: Award and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute\na service contract with Transit Systems Unltd, Inc. for on-call Ford Theatre\nshuttle services, for a one-year term, with four one-year and six month-to-month\nextension options, for a maximum potential contract term of 66 months, and a\nmaximum potential contract amount of $1,658,910; authorize the Director to\nexercise the extension options if, in the opinion of the Director, Transit Systems\nUnltd, Inc. has successfully performed during the previous contract period and\nthe services are still required, approve and execute amendments to incorporate\nnecessary changes within the scope of work, and suspend work if it is in the\nbest interest of the County, and annually increase the contract amount up to\n10% of the annual contract amount, which is included in the maximum potential\ncontract amount, for unforeseen additional work within the scope of the\ncontract, if required; and find that the contract work is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
