23. Department of Health Services Lease Amendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the\nproposed lease amendment with 1403 W Lomita, LLC, a California limited\nliability company, for the Department of Health Services’ continued use of\napproximately 13,735 sq ft of office and clinic space, and 65 on-site parking\nspaces located at 1403 West Lomita Boulevard in Harbor City (4), with an\nestimated maximum first-year base rental amount of $387,327, and an\nestimated aggregate amount of $2,839,000 over the five-year term, including\nelectricity and janitorial, fully funded by the Department of Health Services’\nexisting resources, with no impact to Net County Cost; authorize the Chief\nExecutive Officer to execute any other ancillary documentation necessary to\neffectuate the proposed lease and take actions necessary and appropriate to\nimplement the proposed lease, including, without limitation, exercising any early\ntermination rights; and find that the proposed lease is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
