38. Financial Management and Financial Billing and Recovery Services Sole\nSource Agreements\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Health Services to\nexecute an amendment to a sole source agreement with Sutherland Healthcare\nSolutions, Inc., for the continued provision of Financial Management Services\nfor the Departments of Health Services and Public Health, effective upon\nexecution following Board approval, to extend the term for the period of October\n1, 2023 through September 30, 2025, with no change to the maximum\nreimbursement rates; execute an amendment to a sole source agreement with\nUSCB America for the continued provision of Financial Billing and Recovery\nServices for the Department of Health Services, with no change to the maximum\nreimbursement rates, effective upon execution following Board approval, to\nextend the term for the period of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2025;\nand execute future amendments to the agreement to add, delete, and/or modify\nnon-substantive terms and conditions, as required by applicable law, County\npolicy, and the Board, add/delete County facilities, make any necessary\nchanges to scope of services and negotiate and adjust fees structure that do\nnot exceed the existing maximum compensation rates specified in the\nagreements, and if necessary, terminate the agreement(s) in accordance with\nthe termination provisions set forth in the agreement(s).
