5. Relocation of Traffic Signal Pull Boxes for East Los Angeles Community\nRoadway Improvement\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: Approve and authorize the\nDirector of Public Works to execute a change order in the amount of\n$1,800,000 for traffic signal components, which includes traffic signal pull box\nrelocation, procurement of new materials for pull box relocation and associated\nlabor costs to perform the work for Project ID No. RDC0016147, East Los\nAngeles Community Roadway Improvement Project in the cities of Commerce,\nMontebello, and the unincorporated community of East Los Angeles; and find\nthat the proposed revisions are within the scope of the Board's previous\nexemption finding on March 1, 2022 and there is no change in the project\nscope that requires additional findings under the California Environmental\nQuality Act.
