47. On-Call Flood Facility and Stormwater Treatment System Repair Services\nContract\nRecommendation: Award a contract for on-call flood facility and stormwater\ntreatment system repair services to Powers Bros. Machine, Inc., for a one-year\nterm, with four one-year and six month-to-month extension options, for a\nmaximum potential contract term of 66 months and a maximum potential\ncontract amount of $44,888,580; authorize the Director of Public Works to\nexecute the contract and exercise the extension options if, in the opinion of the\nDirector, the contractor has successfully performed during the previous\ncontract term and the services are still required, approve and execute\namendments to incorporate necessary changes within the scope of work, and\nsuspend work if, it is in the best interest of the County; authorize the Director to\nincrease the contract amount up to an additional 10% of the annual contract\namount, which is included in the maximum potential contract amount for\nunforeseen additional work within the scope of the contract, if required, and\nadjust the annual contract amount for each extension option over the term of the\ncontract to allow for an annual Cost of Living Adjustment in accordance with\nCounty policy and the terms of the contract; and find that the contract work is\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
