16. 2021­2029 Draft Housing Element p. 596\nRecommendation:\nIt is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino, California:\n1. Receive public comments on the 2021­2029 Draft Housing Element; and\n2. Provide comments and direction on the 2021­2029 Draft Housing Element; and\n3. Authorize, by motion, staff to make necessary changes to the 2021­2029 Draft\nHousing Element based on comments and direction; and\n4. Authorize, by motion, the Community, Housing, and Economic Development\nDepartment to submit the revised document to the State Department of Housing and\nCommunity Development (HCD) for review.
