California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services Grant Award\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the consolidated Fire\nDistrict of Los Angeles County (District), authorize the Fire Chief to accept\ngrant award funds in the amount of $500,000 to procure two Heli-Hydrants;\naccept similar future grant award funds from the California Governor’s Office of\nEmergency Services (Cal-OES) in the amount not to exceed $1,500,000;\nexecute the grant award agreement and all future amendments, extensions,\naugmentations, and request for reimbursement to meet the conditions of the\ngrant award; and find that the acceptance of this award is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
