Repair Private Roads on Murphy Way and Winding Way Area Using\nPublic Works Forces and Approve the Dedication of an Easement for\nPublic Road and Highway Purposes to the City of Malibu\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the County Waterworks\nDistrict No. 29, Malibu (District), approve the Murphy Way and Winding Way\nArea Project (Project) and authorize the Director of Public Works to use Public\nWorks forces to perform maintenance and repairs to private roads within the\nProject in a total amount not to exceed $635,000 to ensure the District’s access\nto water infrastructure is to an acceptable condition and execute the necessary\ndocuments to dedicate an easement for public road and highway purposes to\nthe City of Malibu (3); approve the dedication of an easement for public road\nand highway purposes to the City of Malibu; and find that the proposed Project\nis exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
