37. Fraud Hotline and Investigative Services Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the Interim Auditor-Controller to execute a fraud\nhotline and investigative services agreement with the Los Angeles Homeless\nServices Authority (LAHSA), effective upon execution by authorized officials of\nLAHSA and the Interim Auditor-Controller through June 30, 2026, with three\none-year extension options through June 30, 2029, funded by LAHSA at no Net\nCounty Cost, with LAHSA to reimburse the Department of Auditor-Controller for\nthe actual cost of services provided; take necessary actions to implement the\nagreement, execute amendments when deemed necessary to improve the\nmethod for allocating the cost of services provided, revise the services or\nexercise the extension option; and enter into a non-monetary information\nsharing agreement with the City of Los Angeles, in the event the Interim\nAuditor-Controller determines such an arrangement is needed for purposes of\nconducting investigations under the agreement.
