Los Angeles County Office of Education Funding Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Children and Family Services to\nexecute a funding agreement with the Los Angeles County Office of Education\n(LACOE) to cover the cost of transporting youth in foster care to school and\nschool-related activities through HopSkipDrive, Inc., with the term of the\nagreement commencing upon Board approval through June 30, 2024, funding\nprovided by LACOE, in the amount of $900,000; and authorize the Director to\ntake the following actions: (Department of Children and Family Services)\nAPPROVE\nExecute amendments to extend the term, increase or decrease the\nfunding amount, and change the terms and conditions, as necessary to\nmeet programmatic needs with LACOE and HopSkipDrive, Inc.; and\nTerminate the agreement with LACOE and HopSkipDrive, Inc. for\nconvenience or default, if needed.
