76. Custom and Commercial Emergency Response Fire Apparatus and\nEquipment Maintenance and Repair Services Contract\nRecommendation: Acting at the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District (District), approve and instruct the Fire Chief to execute a\ncontract between the District and Fire Apparatus Solutions, to provide\nmaintenance and repair services for the District’s custom and commercial\nemergency response fire apparatus and equipment, on an as-needed and\nintermittent basis; authorize a maximum contract amount of $3,000,000,\nincluding an initial contract term of three years, with two one-year extension\noptions, and twelve month-to-month extension options, for a maximum contract\namount comprised of annual expenditures not to exceed a total of $500,000 per\ncontract year, effective July 1, 2023, or upon Board approval; authorize the\nFire Chief to execute amendments, suspensions, or termination, if deemed\nnecessary, including the extension option, and in accordance with the approved\ncontract terms and conditions, provided the amounts payable under such\namendments do not exceed the $500,000 annual budget; and find that this\ncontract is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
