Protecting Funding for Critical Public Health Infrastructure\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: Direct the Chief Executive\nOfficer, through the Legislative Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations Branch,\nto send a five-signature letter to the Department of Health and Human Services\nSecretary Xavier Becerra, with a copy to the Los Angeles County\nCongressional Delegation, advocating for sustained funding for crosscutting\ninfectious disease prevention efforts; and work with the Director of Public\nHealth and partners on other advocacy efforts to secure ongoing resources to\nsupport critical public health infrastructure.
