59. Transfer Ownership of Los Angeles County Development Authority\nProperty Located at 10750 Laurel Avenue, Whittier, to the County of Los\nAngeles\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Consumer Business Affairs to\nexecute an agreement with the Los Angeles County Development Authority\n(LACDA) to provide operational support for the South Whittier Community\nResource Center, located at 10750 Laurel Avenue in Whittier (4), for a\nsix-month period, with one six-month extension option, if necessary, and to\ntransfer all reserves, less any LACDA administration costs, upon LACDA’s\ncessation of operational support; accept reserve funds in the amount of\napproximately $1,200,000 allocated to the South Whittier Community Resource\nCenter, and execute any necessary agreements including space use\nagreements with various organizations providing services; execute any\nnecessary agreements and take all other actions necessary for and consistent\nwith the foregoing actions; and find that the proposed actions are exempt from\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
