60. Transfer Ownership of Los Angeles County Development Authority\nProperty Located at 4701 Cesar Chavez Avenue, Los Angeles to the\nCounty of Los Angeles\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Mental Health to accept the\nassignment of the lease agreement between the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority (LACDA) and the Associated League of Mexican\nAmericans Family Services, at Centro Estrella, located at 4701 Cesar Chavez\nAvenue in Los Angeles (1), and execute any necessary agreements to accept\nsuch assignment; execute an agreement with LACDA to provide operational\nsupport for Centro Estrella for a six-month period, with one six-month extension\noption, if necessary, and transfer all reserves, less any LACDA administration\ncosts, upon LACDA’s cessation of operational support; upon transfer by\nLACDA, accept reserve funds in the amount of approximately $600,000 and\nexecute any necessary agreements and take all other actions necessary for\nand consistent with the foregoing actions; and find that the proposed actions\nare exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
