African American Infant and Maternal Mortality Prevention Initiative\nServices Master Agreement Work Order\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Health to execute a\ncompetitively solicited Master Agreement Work Order (MAWO) with Healthcare\nStaffing Professionals, Inc, for the provision of as-needed temporary personnel\nservices to support Public Health’s Division of Maternal, Child, and Adolescent\nHealth African American Infant and Maternal Mortality Prevention Initiative,\nupon date of execution through June 30, 2024, at a total maximum obligation\namount not to exceed $916,677, fully offset by funding from the California\nDepartment of Public Health, California Perinatal Health Initiative and California\nHome Visiting Program State General Fund Innovative Home Visiting Projects,\nPritzker Children’s Initiative Community Innovation Grant and Care First\nCommunity Investment; and execute an amendment to the MAWO that extends\nthe term for one year through June 30, 2025, at an annual maximum obligation\namount not to exceed $916,677, contingent upon the availability of funding and\ncontractor performance.
