55. Trauma Prevention Initiative: Street Outreach and Community Violence\nIntervention Services Contracts\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Director of Public Health to execute\nnine contracts with Southern California Crossroads, Soledad Enrichment\nAction, Inner City Visions, The BUILD Program, Just Us 4 Youth and The\nHELPER Foundation, selected under a competitive solicitation process, for the\nprovision of Trauma Prevention Initiative: Street Outreach and Community\nViolence Intervention Services in various County communities (1, 2, 4 and 5),\neffective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026, for an annual maximum obligation\nof $2,800,000, with a total County maximum obligation of $8,400,000, 100%\noffset by Measure B, Proposition AB109 funds; and authorize the Director to\ntake the following related actions: (Department of Public Health) APPROVE\nExecute future amendments to the contracts that extend the term for up to\ntwo additional one-year periods through June 30, 2028, at amounts to be\ndetermined by the Director of Public Health, allow a no-cost adjustment to\nthe term of the contracts for up to six months, allow the rollover of\nunspent contract funds, and/or provide an increase or decrease in\nfunding up to 50% above or below the term’s annual base maximum\nobligation, effective upon amendment execution, or at the beginning of\nthe applicable contract term, and make corresponding service\nadjustments, as necessary;\nExecute change notices to the contracts that authorize budget\nmodifications, and corresponding service adjustments, as necessary,\nchanges to hours of operation and/or service locations, and/or\ncorrections of errors in the contract’s terms and conditions; and\nImmediately suspend any contract upon issuing a written notice to\ncontractors who fail to fully comply with program requirements, terminate\ncontracts for convenience by providing a 30-calendar day advance\nwritten notice to contractors, and accept voluntary contract termination\nnotices from contractors.
