31. Award of Communications Services Master Agreements\nRecommendation: Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute a\nCommunications Services Master Agreement (MA), for a five-year term, with\nthree additional one-year extension options and six month-to-month extension\noptions, for a total MA term of eight years and six months; execute Master\nAgreements with new vendors that become qualified contractors throughout the\nterm of the MA, suspend or terminate MAs for administrative convenience, and\nexecute MA amendments to exercise renewal extension options, approve\nassignment and delegation of the agreement resulting from acquisitions,\nmergers, or other changes in entity, make changes to the terms and conditions\nto align with Board policy changes/directives, and add/or delete service\ncategories and/or applicable exhibits of the MA as they become necessary; and\nexecute Work Orders (WOs) resulting from Work Order Solicitations conducted\nby individual County Departments up to the amount budgeted by the requesting\nDepartment for such services, amend or terminate WOs as requested by\nCounty Departments, and extend applicable MAs automatically beyond their\nterm where a WO for a critical project is issued with an expiration date of no\nmore than 180 days past the expiration of the MA.
