79. Car Wash Services Contract\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District (District), approve and instruct the Fire Chief to execute a\ncontract between the District and Garfield, to provide as needed and intermittent\ncar wash services for the District’s fleet of non-emergency vehicles; authorize\nthe maximum contract amount of $132,000, including the initial contract term of\nthree-years, with two one-year extension options, and twelve month-to-month\nextension options, not to exceed a total possible contract term of six-years, with\nthe maximum contract amount being comprised of annual expenditures not to\nexceed $22,000 per contract year, effective on July 1, 2023, or upon Board\napproval; authorize the Fire Chief to execute amendments, suspensions, or\ntermination if deemed necessary, including the extension options, and in\naccordance with the approved contract terms and conditions, provided the\namounts payable under such amendments do not exceed the $22,000 annual\nbudget; and find that this contract is exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act.
