58. Health Facilities Inspection Division Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Health to accept and execute\na Standard Agreement (SA) between the California Department of Public Health\n(CDPH) and the Department of Public Health’s Health Facilities Inspection\nDivision to perform Federal certifications and State licensing of local health\ncare facilities and investigate long-term care and non-long-term care complaints\nand entity-reported incidents for the term of July 1, 2023 through June 30,\n2026, in the amount of $113,451,995 for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24,\n$122,663,243 for FY 2024-25 and $132,709,899 for FY 2025-26, this includes\nprovisions requiring the County to indemnify the State against all claims and\nlosses related to this agreement and waive all claims and recourse against the\nState related to this program; and execute future SAs, and/or amendments from\nCDPH that are consistent with the requirements of the SA that extend the term\nor funding at amounts to be determined by CDPH, reflect revisions to the terms,\nscope of work, and conditions to include but not limited to, rollover of unspent\nfunds, redirection of funds, and/or increase or decrease in funding.\n(Department of Public Health) APPROVE (23-2288)\nAttachments: Board Letter\nPublic Comment/Correspondence\nCommunity Services
