Department of Mental Health Lease Amendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute a proposed\nlease amendment with Nay Holdings, LLC, a California limited liability company,\nfor the Department of Mental Health’s continued use of approximately 9,970 sq\nft of office space and 30 on-site parking spaces located at 6800 Owensmouth\nAvenue in the City of Canoga Park (3), with estimated maximum first-year base\nrental amount of $273,976, and an estimated aggregate total lease amount of\n$1,818,000 over the six-year term, fully funded by State and Federal funds, with\nno impact to Net County Cost; authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute\nany other ancillary documentation necessary to effectuate the proposed lease\nand take actions necessary and appropriate to implement the proposed lease\nincluding, without limitation, exercising any early termination rights; and find that\nthe proposed lease amendment is exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act.
