33. Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of a Resolution to Authorize an Increase to Solid\nWaste Collection Charges\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Conduct a Public Hearing regarding the implementation of solid waste rates.\n2) After receiving written and public comments, close the Public Hearing and order the\ntabulation of written majority protests; and\n3) If a majority protest of 50 percent plus one of all property owners in the City does not\nexist, adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2023-87 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO ADOPT INCREASED SOLID WASTE\nCOLLECTION CHARGES\nAttachments: Staff Report\nAttachment 1 - Resolution 2023-87\nExhibit A - Notice of Public Hearing
