67. Settlement of the Matter Entitled, Saharra M. White, as guardian ad litem for\nA.T., et al. v. County of Los Angeles\nLos Angeles County Claims Board's recommendation: Authorize settlement of\nthe matter entitled, Saharra M. White, as guardian ad litem for A.T., et al. v.\nCounty of Los Angeles, United States District Court Case No. 2:19-cv-04669, in\nthe amount of $675,000, and instruct the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to\nimplement this settlement from the Department of Health Services' and Sheriff's\nDepartment's budgets.\nThis lawsuit alleges Federal civil rights violations and failure to summon medical\ncare by Sheriff's Department jail staff for the death of an inmate at Twin Towers\nCorrectional Facility.
