Online Candidate Statement Program\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Instruct the\nRegistrar-Recorder/County Clerk to fully implement the Online Candidate\nStatement Program for nonpartisan County offices and judicial positions;\nexplore the feasibility of expansion of the Online Candidate Statement Program\nto local jurisdictions including advocating for any legislative changes that would\ngrant the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk the necessary authority to offer\nOnline Candidate Statements to local jurisdiction nonpartisan elected offices,\nincluding any city or district within the County; establish a cost-recovery model\nthat maintains the cost-effectiveness and incentive of the program; and report\nback to this Board in writing within 180 days on the status of the program\nexpansion to non-County elected Offices.
