51. Inventory Services Contract\nRecommendation: Award a contract for inventory services to Compucount\nInventory Service to provide physical inventory services for the Department of\nPublic Works, for a term of one year, with three one-year and six\nmonth-to-month extension options, for a maximum potential contract term of 54\nmonths and a maximum potential aggregate contract amount of $659,340; and\nauthorize the Director of Public Works to take the following actions:\n(Department of Public Works) APPROVE\nExecute and renew the contract for each additional extension option if, in\nthe opinion of the Director, Compucount Inventory Service has\nsuccessfully performed during the previous contract period, and the\nservices are still required, approve and execute amendments to\nincorporate necessary changes within the scope of work, and to suspend\nwork if, it is in the best interest of the County; and\nAnnually increase the contract amount up to an additional 10% of the\nannual contract amount for contingencies, which is included in the\nmaximum potential aggregate contract amount for unforeseen additional\nwork within the scope of the contract if required, adjust the annual\ncontract amount for each option year over the term of the contract, to\nallow for an annual Cost-of-Living adjustment in accordance with County\npolicy and the terms of the contract.
