Long Beach Unified School District Levying of Taxes\nRequest from the Long Beach Unified School District (District): Adopt a\nresolution authorizing the County to levy taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the\nprincipal of, and interest on, the District’s Election of 2008 General Obligation\nBonds, Series G, in an aggregate amount not to exceed $80,000,000, its\nElection of 2016 General Obligation Bonds, Series C, in an aggregate amount\nnot to exceed $300,000,000, and its Election of 2022 General Obligation Bonds,\nSeries A, in an aggregate amount not to exceed $100,000,000 (Bonds); and\ndirect the Auditor-Controller to place on the 2023-24 tax roll, and all subsequent\ntax rolls, taxes sufficient to fulfill the requirements of the debt service schedule\nfor the Bonds that will be provided to the Auditor-Controller by the District\nfollowing the sale of the Bonds.
