41. Provision of Community Engagement and Related Services Master\nAgreement Work Order\nRecommendation: Authorize and instruct the Director of Public Health to\nexecute a competitively solicited Master Agreement Work Order (MAWO), with\nCommunity Health Councils, Inc., for the provision of community engagement\nand related services to support the Community Public Health Teams Project,\neffective upon date of execution through September 30, 2025, in the amount of\n$38,055,487, fully offset by the California Department of Public Health Future of\nPublic Health Funding award, and the Centers for Disease Control and\nPrevention Strengthening United States Public Health Infrastructure, Workforce,\nand Data Systems grant; and authorize the Director to take the following related\nactions: (Department of Public Health) APPROVE\nExecute amendments to the MAWO that extend the term for up to three\none-year terms through September 30, 2028, at amounts to be\ndetermined by the Director, contingent on the availability of funds and\ncontractor performance, allow for a no-cost adjustment to the term\nthrough March 31, 2029, allow the rollover of unspent MAWO funds, as\nallowed by the grants, provide an increase or decrease in funding up to\n35% above or below each term’s annual base maximum obligation,\neffective upon amendment execution or at the beginning of the applicable\nMAWO term, and make corresponding service adjustments, as\nnecessary, and/or make updates to the terms and conditions, as needed;\nand\nExecute change notices to the MAWO that authorize modifications to or\nwithin budget categories, and make corresponding service adjustments,\nas necessary, make changes to hours of operation and/or service\nlocations, and/or make corrections to the MAWO’s terms and conditions.\n(23-1277)\nAttachments: Board Letter\nPublic Comment/Correspondence
