Proclaiming April 2023 as “National Volunteer Month” in Los Angeles\nCounty\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Proclaim the month of\nApril 2023 as “National County Volunteer Month” throughout Los Angeles\nCounty; encourage people across the County to learn about the value of\nvolunteerism, explore volunteer opportunities with County Departments, and\nregister as volunteers through the County’s online volunteer platform, which can\nbe found at https://volunteer.lacounty.gov; and request County Departments to\nshare and promote the volunteer platform through outreach to internal and\nexternal stakeholders.
