12. Award the contract to Superior Pavement Markings, Inc. for as-needed signing and striping\nmaintenance and repair services in the amount of $40,524 per year for three years (Strategic\nPlan Item 49-IMCIF)\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Adopt a Categorical Exemption from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15301(c) of the California Code of Regulations;\n2. Award the contract to Superior Pavement Markings, Inc. for as-needed signing and striping\nmaintenance and repair services in the amount of $40,524 with a 10% contingency in the\namount of $4,052 for a total amount of $44,576 per year; 3. Authorize the City Manager or his\ndesignee to execute the agreement including minimal and/or non-substantive changes; and 4.\nAuthorize the Public Works Director to execute any necessary change orders in an amount not to\nexceed 10% of the original contract amount.
