11.4\nDiscussion of Creation of Bell Gardens Resident ID Card\nProgram\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City\nCouncil receive and file this report.\nCONCLUSION: The Recreation and Community Services Department\nwill implement a Resident Card program. Interested residents can\nsubmit an application at Ford Park, take a photo and pay the\ndesignated fee to receive a card. Card renewal is required on an\nannual basis. This program is slated to begin in the fall of this year.\nFISCAL IMPACT: There will be a one-time cost for purchasing the\nprinting equipment and software update of approximately $6,000.\nThe current fiscal budget will accommodate the required the costs of\nthe program.\nATTACHMENTS: None.
