B.12. \nCONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH ESTATE DESIGN AND\nCONSTRUCTION, INC. TO CONSTRUCT CIP 2506, FY2025\nCONCRETE REHABILITATION PROJECT [H. COLLINS, J. GILMOUR,\nP. TICUN]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of a Construction\nAgreement with Estate Design and Construction, Inc. to construct CIP No.\n2506, FY2025 Concrete Rehabilitation Project. This project is categorically\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Construction Agreement with\nEstate Design and Construction, Inc. in the amount of $278,400.00 for the\nconstruction of CIP No. 2506, FY2025 Concrete Rehabilitation Project,\nand authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the documents\nincident to the Agreement; 2) Authorize the City Engineer to approve\nchange orders to the Construction Agreement in the amount not to exceed\n25% ($69,600.00) of the total Agreement amount; 3) Adopt Resolution No.\n25-________: “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY\nOF WEST HOLLYWOOD APPROVING THE DESIGN AND PLANS FOR\nTHE CONSTRUCTION OF CIP 2506, FY2025 CONCRETE\nREHABILITATION PROJECT, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE\nSECTION 830.6.”; and 4) Make a finding that pursuant to the provisions of\nthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA – Public Resources Code,\nSection 21084 et. Seq.), CIP No. 2506, FY2025 Concrete Rehabilitation\nProject, meets the requirements for a categorical exemption in compliance\nwith Article 19, Section 15301, (Class 1 – Existing Facilities).
