FOOKS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider a request to co-sponsor the\n“Wonder Women Movie Extravaganza”, an economic empowerment\nfocused event to be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the West\nHollywood City Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the co-sponsorship of the “Wonder\nWomen Movie Extravaganza” to be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at\nthe West Hollywood City Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room; 2)\nAuthorize the City Manager or his designee to execute documents incident\nto the Co-Sponsorship Agreement between the City and Girls Just Wanna\nHave Funds, LLC.; 3) Authorize the Director of Finance and Technology\nServices to approve the use of $2,030 from Fiscal Year 2025-26 budgeted\nfunds in the Special Council Programs account number 100-1-01-00531001 for \ncosts associated with the event; 4) Waive parking at the 5story parking structure \nfor the event (estimated $900); 5) Authorize the\nuse of the City name and logo on invitations, programs, and other\ncollateral materials; and 6) Direct the Communications Department to\nutilize all appropriate communications tools to promote the event such as\nthe City’s website and social media tools.
