HEREDIA]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving the closure of\nportions of Sunset Boulevard, North San Vicente Boulevard, Santa Monica\nBoulevard, and North Doheny Drive to accommodate the 41st annual Los\nAngeles Marathon on Sunday, March 8, 2026.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve street closures associated with the\nannual Los Angeles Marathon event to be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026,\nas detailed in this report; and 2) Authorize the City Manager or his\ndesignee to negotiate with event producers regarding additional route,\nprogramming, or sponsorship requests.
