E.4.\nUPDATE TO THE CITY’S RESPONSE STRATEGIES TO SUPPORT\nCOMMUNITY MEMBERS IMPACTED BY FEDERAL IMMIGRATION\nENFORCEMENT ACTIONS [C. SAFRIET, T. CARTER, D. MURRAY, I.\nARREDONDO, M. LIBERMAN]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will receive an update on the City’s response\nstrategies to support community members impacted by federal\nimmigration enforcement actions, including the implementation of special\nsupplemental assistance programs.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve Agreements for Services to provide\nspecial support to eligible community members in West Hollywood\nimpacted by immigration-related challenges and enforcement with the\nfollowing agencies: a. Project Angel Food in the amount of $75,000.00\nannually, not to exceed $225,000.00 over three years, to provide meal\ndelivery; b. Episcopal Diocese/Seeds of Hope in the amount of $75,000.00\nannually, not to exceed $225,000.00 over three years, to provide groceries\nand meal delivery; and c. National Council of Jewish Women in the\namount of $75,000.00 annually, not-to-exceed $225,000.00 over three\nyears, to provide rental assistance; 2) Authorize the City Manager or\ndesignee to execute documents incident to the agreements; and 3)\nAuthorize the Director of Finance & Technology Services to allocate\n$375,000.00 from unallocated reserves in the General Fund to support\nprograms for community members impacted by federal immigration\nenforcement actions and related costs.
