LANGER]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving an ordinance\namending Chapter 9.50, which restricts the sale or transfer of dogs and\ncats by a retailer, to further restrict or prohibit the sale or transfer of (1)\namphibians, (2) arachnids, (3) birds, (4) fish, (5) hermit crabs, (6)\nmammals (inclusive of rodents, rabbits, and the City’s existing regulations\non the sale of dogs and cats), and (7) reptiles.\nRECOMMENDATION: Introduce and conduct on first reading, by title\nonly, of Ordinance No. 25-______: “AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD, APPROVING\nAMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 9.50 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE\nPROHIBITING THE RETAIL SALE OF LIVE ANIMALS”.\nUNFINISHED BUSINESS:
