21.\n25-635\nAdopt Resolution No. 2025-53 Updating the Uniform Bail Schedule\nfor Parking Violations & Establishing CPI-Based Annual Adjustments\nRecommended Action:\nAdopt Resolution No. 2025-53, “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Huntington\nBeach Adopting an Amended Uniform Bail Schedule for Parking Violations”, which\nrescinds Resolution No. 2020-53 and approves an updated Uniform Bail Schedule for\nparking violations, as outlined in Exhibit A. The resolution also establishes a $25\nadministrative fee for late payment of parking citations in accordance with California\nVehicle Code Section 40207(a) and introduces an annual adjustment to parking fines\nbased on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the Los Angeles-Riverside-Orange County\nregion. This CPI adjustment will be annually applied automatically to help ensure that fines\nremain equitable and reflect changes in inflation.\nPublic Works
