For\nThe Moreno Beach Drive Line Extension From Oliver Street To John F. Kennedy\nDrive, Project Number 805 0071\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Authorize the award of a construction contract to Asplundh Construction, LLC. for\nthe Moreno Beach Drive line extension from Oliver Street To John F. Kennedy Drive,\nProject Number 805 0071; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the contract with Asplundh Construction,\nLLC. for the amount of $1,211,702.70, funded by Moreno Valley Electric Utility’s\nRestricted Assets Fund (6011); and\n3. Authorize the issuance of a purchase order to Asplundh Construction, LLC. in the\namount of $1,211,702.70, when the contract has been signed by all parties; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent Amendments to the\nAgreement with Asplundh Construction, LLC within the City Council approved annual\nbudgeted amounts, including the authority to authorize the associated purchase\norders in accordance with the terms of the agreement, subject to the approval of the\nCity Attorney; and\n5. Authorize a budget adjustment as set forth in the fiscal impact section.
