8.7 AWARD OF DESIGN CONTRACT TO INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECTS INC. FOR\nTHE DESIGN OF TRANSIT CENTER IMPROVEMENTS, CIP NO. 4011.68.012\nComments:\nThe City of Lynwood Public Works Department is planning the redesign and preliminary\nconstruction for the Transit/Community Center to better serve its operations. The\ncompletion of these Transit/Community Center Improvements will also enhance\ncommunity engagement. The project includes a reconfiguration of interior spaces,\nexpansion of usable areas, and upgraded amenities including classrooms, a gym, a\ncoffee shop, and community spaces. This renovation will revitalize an aging facility into a\nmodern, multi-functional civic hub while improving accessibility to the Lynwood residents.\n(PW)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A\nCONTRACT TO INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECHTS INC.
