APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE 2025 SAN DIEGO\nAIR COOLED FIESTA IN LA PLAYA CAR SHOW AND USE OF SEACOAST DRIVE, PIER\nPLAZA AND IMPERIAL BEACH PIER AND SOUND AMPLIFICATION PERMIT. (1040-10)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommend the City Council:\n1. Approve the special event permit application from San Diego Air Cooled to the\nannual Fiesta En La Playa Car Show on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Approval\nincludes:\na. Use of Pier Plaza as an event venue; and\nb. Closure of Seacoast Drive from Elkwood Avenue to Donax Avenue; and\nc. Use the Imperial Beach Pier to park cars; and\nd. Sound amplification permit.\n2. Consider approving the applicant’s request for a waiver of eligible special event\nfees.
