9F.\nAWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE FY 25/26 CITYWIDE SIDEWALK\nREPAIR PROJECT (TASK CODE NO. 2026-103)\nNine bids for the FY 25/26 Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project were opened on August 11,\n2025. Based on the post-bid analysis of the bids received, staff has determined the bid\nsubmitted by CJ Concrete Construction, Inc. to be the lowest responsible and responsive\nbid at $49,635.00 At this time, staff is recommending awarding the construction contract\nto CJ Concrete Construction, Inc.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare that this project is categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act, Class 1, and Section 15301(c) as repair, maintenance, and\nminor alteration of existing streets, sidewalks, gutters, and similar facilities; and\n2. Award a construction contract for the FY 25/26 Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project for\nthe bid amount of $49,635.00 and reject all other bids; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to bind the City of Stanton and CJ Concrete Construction,\nInc. in a contract for the construction; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to approve contract changes orders, not to exceed\n$15,000.
