9D.\nAUTHORITY TO ADVERTISE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CITYWIDE\nREPLACEMENT PROJECT (PHASE 2) (TASK CODE NO. 2022-102)\nSIGN\nThe plans, specifications, and necessary documents for the Citywide Sign Replacement\nProject (Phase 2) are complete. The City Engineer is recommending City Council approve\nthe specifications and plans for bidding, subject to revision by the City Engineer and the\nCity Attorney, to ensure the construction contract is awarded in an efficient and timely\nmanner. The Project plans and specifications are available in the City Engineer’s Office\nfor review.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that this project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (“CEQA”), Class 2, Section 15302 as replacement of existing structures and\nfacilities; and\n2. Approve the bid specifications and plans, subject to revisions required by the City\nEngineer and the City Attorney; and\n3. Authorize and advertise for bids the Citywide Sign Replacement Project (Phase 2).
