6)\nCONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOLIC\nBEVERAGE CONTROL ALCOHOL POLICING PARTNERSHIP GRANT FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE SAN\nFERNANDO POLICE DEPARTMENT’S UNDER-AGE ALCOHOL PURCHASE PREVENTION\nPROGRAM, AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE THE FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 20252026 ADOPTED BUDGET\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Adopt Resolution No. 8407 authorizing the City Manager to execute Standard Agreement\nNo. 25-APP40 (Contract No. 2423), accepting Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control\nAlcohol Policing Partnership Grant Funds in the amount of $75,000, to support the San\nFernando Police Department’s under-age alcohol purchase prevention program aimed to\nreduce underage drinking, reduce youth access to alcoholic beverages through the\neducation of alcohol licensees, and enforcement intervention; and\nb. Adopt Resolution No. 8408 amending the budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 to appropriate\nthe grant revenues and expenses.
