9.\nAUTHORIZE RFP: PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE FY\n2025-2026 SB1 STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT – F2M25-35, RFP2M25-18\nOn May 12, 2025, the City Council adopted Resolution R2M25-21, which identified the FY\n2025-26 street rehabilitation that will be funded by SB1, the Road Repair and\nAccountability Act. The project includes design services and street rehabilitation (including\nbut not limited to pavement, striping, ADA ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutter, etc.) for public\nstreets bound by Mission Road, New Avenue, Valley Boulevard and Garfield Avenue. Staff\nis now requesting the distribution of an RFP for engineering, design, and estimating\nservices to support the execution of the project.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council authorize the distribution of a Request for\nProposals (RFP) for Professional Engineering Design Services for Plans, Specifications\nand Cost Estimate for the FY 2025-26 SB1 Street Rehabilitation Project, with proposals\ndue no later than 12:00 p.m. on October 6, 2025; and, direct staff to undertake the steps\nnecessary to finalize the Council’s action.
