Sixth Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Kleinfelder,\nInc. for the Camino Del Mar Bridge Replacement Project\nRecommended Action: Staff recommends that the City Council: 1) Approve the\nSixth Amendment (Attachment A) to extend the Professional Services Agreement\nwith Kleinfelder, Inc. (Kleinfelder) for engineering design services for the Camino\nDel Mar Bridge Replacement Project; and 2) Authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the Sixth Amendment.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 406-1\n6. Acceptance of a Donation from the Del Mar Foundation for Portable Lighting\nRecommended Action: Staff recommends the City Council: 1) Accept a donation\nof $3,652 from the Del Mar Foundation to purchase a portable outdoor lighting\nsystem; and 2) Amend the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Operating and Capital Budget to\nreflect the donation.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 201-16, 1202-11\n7. Approval of Emergency Funding for San Dieguito Drive Embankment\nFailure Repairs\nRecommended Action: Staff recommends that the City Council: 1) Approve\n$135,000 in emergency funding for construction, traffic control and geotechnical\nengineering for the emergency work related to the San Dieguito Drive\nembankment failure; 2) Ratify any prior authorization by the City Manager to\nfacilitate the emergency repairs as well as authorize execution of any documents\nnecessary to complete the work; and 3) Amend the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-2023\nOperating and Capital Budget as described in the Fiscal Impact section of this\nreport to fund the emergency repair work.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 1101-1\n8. San Dieguito Drive Water Pipeline Emergency Repairs - Task Order\nAmendment\nRecommended Action: Staff requests that the City Council: 1) Approve a $33,900\nemergency time-and-materials task order amendment with Southland Paving, Inc.\n(Southland) (Attachment A); 2) Authorize the City Manager to execute the task\norder amendment to fund the additional scope of necessary emergency repair\nwork; and 3) Authorize the transfer of $25,000 in additional funds from the Water\nInfrastructure Improvement project to the San Dieguito Water Pipeline Repair\nproject.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 406-1, 1103-1
