3.7 Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Grant Award Contract Administered by the\nDepartment of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) in Fiscal Year 2025-2026.\nRECOMMENDATION:\nA. Adopt a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL\nOF THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION\nOF A GRANT AWARD CONTRACT ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF\nALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL”; and\nB. Approve the Agreement with the California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control\n(ABC) for an Alcohol Policing Partnership Program (APP) Grant in the amount of $70,000\nand authorize the Chief of Police to execute the same; and\nC. Amend the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 adopted budget by designating grant funds in the\namount of $70,000 in the Intergovernmental – State Other revenue account and\nincreasing budgeted expenditures in the amount of $70,000 in the ABC designated fund\naccount for overtime, benefits, equipment, travel costs, and special investigations.\nPROCLAMATIONS
