ADOPTION OF REVISIONS TO THE CITY’S PERSONNEL RULES AND\nREGULATIONS; ADOPTION OF HARASSMENT, DISCRIMINATION, AND\nRETALIATION PREVENTION POLICY; APPROVAL OF A SIDE LETTER OF\nAGREEMENT WITH THE SAN MARINO CITY FIREFIGHTERS’\nASSOCIATION LOCAL 3626 (“FFA”) TO ESTABLISH DISCIPLINE\nAPPEAL PROCEDURES; AND FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE NO. O25-1422, AN ORDINANCE OF THE SAN MARINO CITY COUNCIL\nAMENDING SECTION 2.05.1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO RESTATE\nEXEMPT FROM THE CITY’S CLASSIFIED SERVICE\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council 1) adopt Resolution No. R-25-24,\nadopting revised Personnel Rules and Regulations and adopting a Harassment,\nDiscrimination, and Retaliation Policy, 2) approve the Side Letter of Agreement with\nthe San Marino City Firefighters’ Association Local 3626 (“FFA”) to establish discipline\nappeal procedures, and 3) introduce for first reading Ordinance No. O-25-1422.
