B.5.\nADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 25-20 (2ND READING) AND UPDATE ON\nEQUITABLE BUILDING PERFORMANCE STANDARDS (EBPS) [N.\nMARICICH, J. ALKIRE, F. CONTRERAS, C. SHEN, M. CROWDER, L.\nMORALES]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will waive further reading and adopt\nOrdinance No. 25-20, amending Titles 9 and 15 of the West Hollywood\nMunicipal Code,\nto establish Building Energy Benchmarking and\nPerformance Standards for existing buildings and finding the action to be\nexempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA), pursuant to Sections 15301, 15302, and 15308 of the State\nCEQA Guidelines. The City Council will also receive an update on the\nEquitable Building Performance Standards (EBPS).\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Waive further reading and adopt Ordinance\nNo. 25-20: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nWEST HOLLYWOOD AMENDING TITLES 9 AND 15 OF THE WEST\nHOLLYWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH BUILDING ENERGY\nBENCHMARKING AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS FOR COVERED\nBUILDINGS AND FINDING THE ORDINANCE EXEMPT FROM CEQA\nPURSUANT TO STATE CEQA GUIDELINES SECTIONS 15301, 15302,\nAND 15308”; and 2) Receive and file an update on the Equitable Building\nPerformance Standards (EBPS).
